I think I first leaned about enclosure in AP European History, in high school, but the last time I was taught it was in Sales and Secured Transactions in law school. My prof was a very quirky individual, I think the lone libertarian at Central then, and truly got ecstatic when he waxed poetic about the way the law works to enforce the contracts which undergird this capitalist economy. These in single architectures do so much work to make other pass times (other "work") seem impossible.
